Hi there, I'm Jeff!

I've been building things since I was a kid—LEGO, Erector sets, then computers, then websites, then mobile apps. I spent 15 years at Western Oregon University's Research Institute helping nonprofits solve tech problems.

Today I run UpStart Productions, where I help mission-driven organizations use technology that actually serves their purpose. I also make things at Craft NW—whatever captures my attention at the moment.
